The National Youth Service Corps, Lagos State, has held the first virtual management meeting in respect of the Committee constituted to Control COVID-19 Pandemic in the State.
The Virtual Meeting, which was held on Friday, April 17 at 11am was facilitated by the ICT Unit of the State Secretariat, was conducted via the Zoom Web Application platform for Video and Audio Conferencing and had participants join in remotely from the comfort of their homes, which cuts across the length and breadth of the State.
The State Coordinator, Mr. Eddy Megwa who chaired the meeting, reacted to the achievement as a ground-breaking, watershed moment in the history of the Lagos State Secretariat.
He said the meeting was necessitated by the need to adhere strictly to Public Health/Government regulations and guidance in the ongoing battle to contain and control the further spread of the Coronavirus Pandemic.
