LOOK INWARDS.....Kolajo

Corps members of 2020 Batch 'B' Stream 2  deployed to Lagos State for National Service have been charged to be patriotic and look inwards to acquire skills.

The charged came today during a Motivational lecture delivered by a former Director of the scheme, Mrs. Foluso Kolajo at the NYSC Orientation camp Iyana Ipaja Agege.
The retired Director congratulated the corps members for successfully completing their various degrees which qualified them for  mobilisation into National Service.

The former Human Resource Director informed the corps members that the scheme is filled with various opportunities where innate talents can be discovered.
Kolajo urged the corps members to be patriotic and focused as the scheme is designed to prepare them for the physical challenges they would encounter in the larger society. 

She urged them to take the Skills Acquisition and  Entrepreneurship Development Programme designed for them seriously as white collar jobs are no longer available.
The one time overall best camp Official encouraged the corps members to key in into the SAED Trainings organized for them to be self reliant and become employers of labour. 

She advised them to accept their posting in good fate by going into the nooks and crannies of their host communities and impact them positively.
She thanked the State Coordinator and camp officials for the warm reception accorded her on arrival.
Briefing the guest on the camp situation, the state coordinator, Mr. Eddy Megwa commended  both corps members and camp officials for observing the Covid 19 Protocols.

 He added that corps members have been well behaved and participating in all camp activies.
Megwa used the occasion to thank the State Government for their continuous support to the scheme in the state especially in the provision of a permanent orientation camp at Agbowa in Ikorodu local government area .
