The DG URGES THE CORPS MEMBERS TO ADHERE TO THE NYSC DRESS CODE

The director of the skill acquisition entrepreneurship development, Mr Hilary Nasamu has applauded all corps members for their good conduct so far in the camp.

He made this known today while addressing them at the National Youth Service Camp Lagos where he implored all corps members to respect their uniform and strictly adhere to the dress code of the service, stressing the need for them to wear it often as it's a dignified and respectable uniform, and an identity to all corps members.

Mr Nasamu further expressed the need for corps members to learn a skill at the ongoing Skill Acquisition Entrepreneur Development at the orientation camp, also stating in confidentiality that the federal government has made available the World Bank grants for youth corps members who would eventually want to start up a business during their service year.

The Director of Skill Acquisition Entrepreneur Development also explained that the National Youth Service Corps goes beyond the way it's being framed because it's an avenue to create strong ties with people you've never met before now and also learn the basics about life.

Furthermore, Nasamu counselled corps members to only speak through the National Youth Service Corps accredited mediums of communication, urging all members to be truthful and accountable to their primary place of assignment.

He also added that all corps members should avoid spreading false information and totally stay off from press conferences except if it's duly approved by the National Youth Service Corps management. 
He concluded on the need for every corps members to stand for each other in both public and private gatherings, as the NYSC is structured to endear unity in the heart of Nigerian youths, seeing ourselves as one Nigeria and not of different tribes.
