NYSC Lagos Holds Inaugural Knowledge Sharing Session

The National Youth Service Corps in Lagos State has held its inaugural 'Knowledge Sharing Session' for officers on levels 14 and above at the Surulere Secretariat office.

The programme which was initiated by the State Coordinator of NYSC Lagos State, Mr Eddy Megwa is aimed at expanding the knowledge reservoir of members of staff for effective service delivery and equip them for leadership roles. 
Mr. Megwa while delivering a lecture on Leadership, charged members of staff to desire to be effective and distinct when dispensing their duties and responsibilities.
Having worked as a protocol officer to two past Directors-General of the scheme, Mr Megwa used his personal experiences in explaining the qualities and roles of a good leader.
According to him, as a leader, members of staff must be prepared to carry out periodic self-evaluation on themselves and be dynamic in their dealings.
The programme which is meant to continually train members of staff also had Mr. Agbor Ndoma, Deputy Director,Human Resources Management lecture staff on filing and minuting.

It is important to state that the 'Knowledge Sharing Session' programme is one of the objectives of Mr. Eddy Megwa in rebranding the NYSC scheme in Lagos State and position the officers for effective service delivery.
