SANWO-OLU TO COMMENCE WORK ON NYSC PERMANENT ORIENTATION CAMP, LAGOS

The Governor of Lagos State – Mr. Babajide Olushola Sanwo-Olu has assured that work will begin earnestly on the proposed site of the ultra-modern NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp in Agbowa.

The Governor was speaking during a courtesy visit by the NYSC Lagos State Coordinator – Mr. Eddy Megwa and his team to the State House, Marina, yesterday. 
Mr. Governor who lauded the efforts of Corps Members in the fight against COVID-19 pandemic in Lagos State, used same opportunity to urge Corps Members to continue to take advantage of Skill Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development, so as to better their lot after their service year.
The Governor also charged Corps Members to show commitment and dedication, while they continue to contribute their quota to the giant strides of Government.
The NYSC Lagos State Coordinator seized the opportunity to brief Mr. Governor on the readiness of the Temporary Orientation  Camp for the Post-COVID-19 Orientation Course programme which is anticipated to commence soon with the approval of the Presidential Task Force (PTF) on COVID-19. 

The Governor in his usual magnanimity, also approved the release of an official vehicle for the State Coordinator. 
For the Passing-out Corps Members, the Governor equally promised to celebrate them with a Lagos State memorabilia to commemorate the end of their Service Year.
