A former NYSC Director at the National Directorate Headquarters, Abuja, Mrs. Foluso Lasaki has warned corps members to be weary of the places they go to and the people they relate with during the one year national service.
She gave the warning during her visit to the 2020 Batch 'A' and 'B' stream 1B corps members today at the NYSC Lagos State orientation camp, Iyana Ipaja.
The former Director of the scheme also advised the corps members to obey constituted authority, rules and regulations of the camp.
The pioneer ex corps member also encouraged the corps members to ensure they key into the Skills Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development programme of the scheme to discover their talent and better their lives after the service year.
She equally reminded them of the four cardinal programmes of the NYSC and advised them to adjust to the regimented camp life.
The former Biology teacher who described the camp as a -leveller- urged the corps members to see themselves as one irrespective of their status or background.
She urged them to be hard working and productive so as not to become burden to themselves, parents, wife or husband.
Above all, the ever lively and agile great grand mother, Mrs. Lasaki advised the corps members to always put God first in whatever they do as she prayed and wished them well through out the service year.
