NYSC SWEARS IN 850 CORPS MEMBERS IN LAGOS CAMP

A total of Eight hundred  and Fifty Corps Members of the 2020 Batch 'B' stream 1B were sworn in today by the State Chief Judge who was represented by Justice Owolabi Dabiri at the NYSC Lagos State Orientation Camp Iyana-Ipaja Agege Lagos.

In his address, the NYSC Lagos State Coordinator, Mr. Eddy Megwa congratulated the Corps members for successfully completing their degree examinations which qualified them to be mobilised and called up for national Service. 
He informed them that the Orientation has been specially designed to inculcate in them a tradition of industry at work,  patriotic and loyal service to the Nation in any situation they may find themselves. 

He added that the course will also afford them the opportunity to remove prejudices, eliminate ignorance and confirm at first hand the many similarities among Nigerians of all ethnic groups.
The Coordinator reminded them that Government is very critical about their safety and therefore encouraged that they adhere strictly to all safety protocols of Covid-19.
He finally thanked the Government and good people of Lagos State particularly the support and cooperation which the scheme has overtime enjoyed in the course of its operations and wished the Corps members a very fulfilling service year in Lagos.
