PLATOON FIVE WINS DRILL COMPETITION.

Platoon five has emerged  winner of the 2020 Batch 'B' stream 1B inter platoon drill competition for corps members deployed to Lagos State for National Service on Thursday 17th December at the NYSC Lagos State orientation camp.

 Platoon five came first with a total of 88.35 per cent while platoons two and three came second and third respectively with 82.35 per cent and 80.00 per cent. 
The best parade commanders were platoons nine, five  and two commanders respectively. 

Speaking at the end of the competition, the General Officer Commanding 81 Division, Nigeria Army, represented by Brigadier General  H. Yanet commended the corps members for their performance which he described as beautiful. 
He said the GOC has promised to sponsor and attend NYSC  programmes  whenever  he is called upon. 

He also advised the corps members to identify problems in their communities and find solutions to them.

 He told them to prepare good CVs for themselves if they want to get good jobs as employers are always attracted to good CVs. General Yanet also urged them to crave for new ideas and be ready to learn anywhere they are posted.

 Highlights of the competition was the presentation of prices to the first, second and third platoons as well as the three best platoon parade commanders.
