No fewer than 574 prospective corps members deployed to Lagos State for National Service have been sworn in by the representative of the Chief Judge of Lagos State, Hon. Justice Taiwo Olatokun on Monday 25th January 2021 at the NYSC Lagos orientation camp, Iyana Ipaja, Agege.
Speaking at the ceremony, the State coordinator, Mr. Eddy Megwa congratulated the corps members for successfully completing their various degree programmes that qualified them for national service in the prestigious scheme.
He urged them to see themselves as vibrant Nigeria youths who are ready to diligently serve their Fatherland.
The state coordinator commended the corps members for the high level of discipline and patriotism displayed since their arrival at the orientation camp, he urged them to maintain the momentum.
Megwa also used the occasion to appreciate the Executive Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Sanwo Olu for the support to the scheme in the state.
He also commended the state governing board for always attending to issues concerning the scheme in Lagos.
Camp officials were in attendance in the low key ceremony.
