ACQUIRE A SKILL WHILE IN CAMP...... MEGWA

The NYSC Lagos State Coordinator, Mr. Eddy Megwa has charged the 2020 Batch 'B' stream 2 Prospective Corps members deployed to the state for  National Service to identify and learn a Skill during the three weeks orientation course.

 He said this during his briefing  at the NYSC Orientation camp Iyana Ipaja Agege. 
Megwa said the Skills Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development Programme is designed for them to be self reliant and employers of labour. 

He urged them to identify with the felt needs of their host communities and contribute positively to the society as part of their Clarion call to the nation.
The state coordinator added that the scheme has brought Unity among diverse ethic groups and urged corps members to see themselves as one and cooperate with each other as ambassadors of the scheme.
He advised them to be disciplined, participate actively in all camp activities and obey all rules and regulations especially the Covid 19 Protocols of washing their hands regularly, use of face masks and maintain social distancing at all times. 
He advised them to avoid hard drugs and other substances that can mar their future ambitions as they are expected to be role models of the scheme for others to emulate.

Megwa advised them to avoid unauthorised journeys in the course of the service year and wished the corps members a hitch free and fulfilling orientation course.
