EMBRACE SKILLS ACQUISITION AS ALTERNATIVE MEANS OF LIVELIHOOD, LEKE ABIODUN CHARGES LAGOS CORPS MEMBERS

Corps members undergoing their Orientation Course at the NYSC Orientation Camp Iyana Ipaja Lagos have been charged to embrace skill sets during their Skills acquisition trainings for the purpose of the future.

Mr Leke Abiodun said this during his visit to the Lagos State Orientation Camp ground in Lagos today. 
The Director ( Audit) at the NYSC Directorate Headquarters charged the over 587 Corps members on camp to make the best use of the SAED trainings as it is an alternative way to secure their future.

 He added that as much as possible, the serving members should avoid night travels in order to avoid unnecessary road mishaps that could lead to untimely deaths.
 He encouraged them to be security conscious at all times and report unusual movements around them to the appropriate authorities.

 He wished them a successful Orientation Course and by extension, a fruitful sojourn in Lagos State.
Mr Abiodun used the medium to interact with NYSC course officials where he admonished them to be part of an inclusive administration. 

He warned that all manners of misdemeanor should not be entertained in the scheme and prayed that everybody should be focused towards the realisation of the aims and objectives of the scheme. 
He further informed the house that Management is not oblivious of the fact that a motivated workforce will yield an improved service discharge and therefore will do everything possible in the area of staff welfare.

In his remarks, the State Coordinator Mrs Eddie Megwa welcomed the Director and implore him to convey the various goodwill messages and staff members' prayers to management for consideration.
In her closing remark, the Assistant Director (HRM), Mrs Winifred Shokpeka expressed appreciation to Mr Leke Abiodun for the important visit and wished him journey mercies to his destination.
